Pinot Noir 2017
As I pour the 2017 vintage in glass, I notice a darker hue than previous vintages, most likely due to additional skin contact during fermentation. Floral, dark cherry and red licorice begin this journey. Gobs of bing cherry flood the palate, drenching it in the most lovely way. The finish comes to a very happy conclusion with juuuuust the right amount of fancy French oak integrated with juicy, candied-red fruit.
48 cases... THAT'S IT!
After a brief hiatus with Pinot Noir, I'm back in love with this persnickety yet rewarding varietal.
