Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

When I started making Cab in 2002, I had spent time at our local boutique wine shop buying up what ever the manager Ben Pearson would put in my basket. I told him I wanted to make French style cabs with lower Alc, less new oak and more acid. I feel our 2015 captured the spirit of Napa 1976 when a lowly Napa Cab beat the French in Paris in a blind tasting and thus forever putting California on the map as a world class growing region.

Tasting Notes

Tar, tart cocoa, fresh clove and earth aromas. Very slightly tannic, the flavors are vibrant with floral herbal notes, fresh green olives.
