Blue fruit galore, a different direction for Harvest Moon. This Malbec adds a layer to our offerings that have not appeared before in our 15 years of crafting small-lot wines. Chewy, chocolaty and fruity, this softer approach to red wine will not disappoint at your next friends and family celebration.
Dark blue fruit galore. A long cool fermentation allowed for good skin contact resulting in a deep purple hue. Soft, floral blueberry, dark chocolate and hazelnut wrap the palate begging for another sip.
After many wonderful experiences with Malbec, we decided to reach out and try our hand with an Alta Mesa vineyard. The grapes were destemmed, crushed and fermented in ¾ ton open top t-bins for 11 days. The wine was pressed direct to oak casks where it aged for 11 months in 15% new Radaux American/French hybrid barrels. We bottled unfiltered and unfined.
