Winemaker Notes

This fruit comes from a 30-year old vineyard off our Home Ranch, nestled in the Russian River Valley. The cane pruned vines ensure a low yield of approximately 2.2 tons/acre which creates incredibly intense aromas and flavor profiles. Unlike traditional Gewurztraminers, this wine was fermented to a bone-dry level and introduced to malolactic bacteria and French oak, lending the light-bodied wine a creamy mouth feel , while preserving the refreshingly crisp flavors. this wine pairs beautifully with crab or seafood cake, lobster bisque, and also tastes great with a classic Caesar salad.
