2 1/2 cups of blueberries (fresh are best, frozen will also work)

3/4 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of water

1 tsp. of lemon juice

1/2 tsp. of cinnamon

1/2 cup of Harvest Moon Late Harvest Estate Zinfandel

In a small sauce pan; simmer berries, water, sugar and lemon juice (about 10 minutes). Add cinnamon and Late Harvest Zin; allow to simmer for an additional 2-5 minutes. For a thicker syrup, add 1 tsp. of cornstarch. Serve warm.
