Grower & Winemaker's Notes

This fruit comes from a 30 + year-old vineyard off the Estate nestled in the Russian River Valley. The cane-pruned vines ensure a low yield of approximately 2.5 tons/acre which creates incredibly intense aromas and flavor profiles. Unlike “traditional” Gewürztraminers, this wine was fermented to an absolute dry level and introduced to malo-lactic bacteria and French oak, lending the light-bodied wine a creamy mouth feel, yet preserving the refreshingly crisp lively flavors.   

Tasting Notes

Fresh notes of citrus and bright melon, a light creaminess on the mid, and a delightfully crisp clean finish; this dry Gewurztraminer resembles a Sauvignon Blanc/Pinot Gris. Refreshing and enjoyable on those hot summer days. Enjoy!  This wine pairs amazingly with our local seafood and also tastes great with a classic ceasar on your dinner table.

With every year our dry Gewurzt sits in bottle, the acids will integrate and the honey profiles will increase.
